Bien jouer d'un instrument demande de la maîtrise ; en jouer mal en demande plus encore ! C'est sur ce paradoxe que repose la bande-originale de Tooth and Tail : de la symphonie, oui, mais de la symphonie... bourrée ! Austin Wintory se prête au jeu et s'amuse avec une malice espiègle à faire en sorte que son orchestre accumule les faux pas (encore plus pendant les pistes qui font référence à des danses très réglementées comme "Bellafide's Tentarella" ou "Archimedes' Tango"). Audacieux, génial !

Despite the lighthearted bombastic intentions of the main campaign, Syndicate turned out to be a very intimate and melancholic experience that leaves me with more farsickness than anything else. Austin's soundtrack played a huge role and every time I hear its wonderful verves, it brings me back to these beautiful feelings. Lovely music all throughout.

Tant de questions dont la réponse reste hors de notre portée : le Bien a-t-il une valeur ? Qu'est-ce que le Beau ? Comment peut-on dire non à Austin Wintory ? Remnants compile des démonstrations destinées à des studios qui lui ont claqué la porte au nez. De fait, c'est un excellent tour d'horizon de ses talents : symphonies vikings et celtiques (le duo "Axes upon Shields" et "Shields against Axes"), musiques folkloriques et carnavalesques... 100% devaient disparaître, elles sont 100% géniales !
